Backstory
Walking aimlessly through Kyoto, leaving the crowds at Kenninji Temple, I found this alleyway, empty at first. But I knew something brought me here, and I waited. After dozens of people had came and gone, perhaps 45 minutes of waiting, all of a sudden the streets clear except the suited Salary Man and the woman in a ceremonial kimono. A perfect contrast in Japanese personas
